5 gadgets you need when you’re traveling

If you’re a constant traveler, you must probably already master the art of packing and unpacking in just a matter of minutes. When it comes to personal travels, I mostly prefer short-term trips and weekend getaways or city breaks. They are often extremely convenient in price and can help you visit more places throughout the year.

Thus, packing only the essentials and traveling light has become my ultimate mantra which I stick to no matter what. However, when it comes to gadgets, I often find myself wondering how many should I take or which are the ones that I will truly require. If you’re thinking alike, I have come up with a list of gadgets you will certainly need to make your travels easier and more comfortable.

Leak-proof travel bottles

The number one rule of traveling light is to never take large containers with you, including your favorite cosmetics and perfumes. And, while there are countless options of travel-size kits for shaving, washing, shampooing, and conditioning, not all of us are keen on letting their favorite products at home.

So, if you are like me and cannot get through the day without your washing routine using your favorite products, you can easily squeeze some of the bottle’s content into a smaller travel bottle, and take it away with you anywhere you go. After all, you won’t be needing the whole content for just a few days.

Power banks and 3-in-1 cables

Smartphones have become indispensable anywhere we go, so why risk running out of juice just when you find yourself in front of a beautiful place or landscape you need to photograph? If you want to always keep in contact with your loved ones and share unforgettable memories from the places you travel to, make sure to always have a high-power power bank with you. Additional connectors can come in handy especially if you like outdoor experiences or travel with friends.

Portable Keyboard

If you can’t seem to quit working not even when you’re on a vacay, a lighter method instead of carrying your laptop with you would be to only purchase a portable keyboard. This can be easily attached to your tablet, which is more lightweight and most useful for the entire family. So, all you have to do is to connect the keyboard to your tablet and you’ve come up with a smart solution for answering emails or even working remote, even from a sunny beach.

Satellite phone

If your traveling plans include deserted areas of the globe such as far-away islands, deserts or Amazonian forests, you won’t be able to use many of your regular smartphone’s features and apps. So, if you need to stay in touch with your loved ones and let them know you are safe in your travels, a satellite phone is the right purchase for you.
